About Us

Candice was awarded an LL.B with honors from the University of the West Indies in 2006. She was called to the bar in Jamaica after graduating from the Norman Manley Law School in September 2008, where she earned the Pitts and Elrington Prize for the most outstanding Belizean student of her graduation class.

Candice was conferred with the Master of Laws Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law in January 2012 allowing her to garner inordinate and diverse experience in juxtaposing Belize’s legislative and regulatory framework with that of other Caribbean territories, including Jamaica.

She has worked at prominent law firms in both Belize and Jamaica. Candice has also taught CAPE Law Courses including Contract, Real Property and Tort at Jamaica College, Sixth Form Division. Her innate zeal for contributing to the development of the education system has allowed her to become a member of the Global Young Leaders, an international organization that offers unique leadership development programs to enhance critical leadership skills in a global context.

She has provided legal advice to counsel and clients on a wide range of areas including land law, estate planning and succession, health, employment, intellectual property, family law and enforcement of judgments and regulatory matters.

Candice’s passion is deep rooted and fundamentally based on the values gleaned from her personal life and professional work experiences. These values have sparked motivation and professionalism to excel and thrive in an expanding and demanding legal field.
